The room was spacious, had air‑conditioning and a small kitchen. The reception was never staffed; you had to call and sometimes someone would come, but there was only one employee, so communication was awkward. Towels were never changed and the room wasn’t cleaned. There was no lounge chair or similar at the pool. The hotel is far from the action, and the price‑to‑quality ratio was poor. Not a good experience.

The room was very large and modern, with a very nice bed. The staff were almost never present, and the room was left to rain. Cleaning came every four days and only did a superficial job. The room still had dirt from the previous guest (cigarette smell from the trash, toothpaste stains on the bathroom mirror, dust in the corners, a limescale‑covered shower hose). Trash was also only emptied every four days, so we had to leave it outside and a lot of ants came. It stayed there for two more days until it was taken out.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful and well‑located. The staff are lovely, as is the manager (we didn’t get to speak to her husband, who apparently is French). The food is delicious – there’s sausage, bread, cheese 😉 We asked for help booking a taxi for the full moon and it was perfect. Ras!

Having a stove and washing machine was very convenient, and the location is a bit down the west coast, great if you bike. The staff were helpful when they were around, though the reception is often empty. I’d stay again. Minor issues: the curtains were too small to cover the whole window, and the only pan we had was overused, so anything cooked got burnt and stuck. Also, not the hotel’s fault, but someone in the backyard was smoking all day, so we were constantly exposed to smoke.
