I stayed at Bondi Beach Backpackers and the location was fantastic—just a 5‑minute walk to Bondi Beach, plenty of restaurants nearby, a Woolworths, and other attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even suggesting places to visit and events like Sculptures by the Sea. I would highly recommend them for their useful info, good recommendations, friendly company, and a comfortable stay whether short or long term. Thanks for hosting me; I hope to return 😁 The only surprise was the men's bathroom: it had 3 showers and 2 toilets, which felt crowded with the number of people there, but it was manageable for the length of my stay. Otherwise, everything stayed clean and great to use.

I don't understand the low reviews… the hostel is excellent! Amazing location in the heart of the neighborhood – right on the beach, spacious and comfortable rooms, equipped kitchen, everything clean and tidy :) The staff were great, the owner shared a lot of information about things to do in the area and gave us tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip in Australia. There’s also an option to rent surfboards, wetsuits, skateboards, etc… The price is fair and cheaper than other options in the area. Highly recommended!

Me parece una locura la política de cobros que tienen: 1. Te cobran un bond, ¿por qué cobran bond en un hostal? 2. Además de que te cobran un bond, te descuentan si o si por noche plata de ese bond. 3. Hay zonas para fumadores, y aún así hay personas vapeando en la zona donde se come, al lado de la recepción. 4. El formulario del check-in tiene cláusulas raras como que no se puede extender a través de booking o hostelword solo en recepción

The location was fine, yet the cleanliness, noise, lack of transparency, and the management’s treatment of guests were all disappointing; they added a compulsory $3 daily food/beverage fee even if you never use the kitchen, and compared to my many backpacker stays in Australia and abroad, this place was the loudest, dirtiest, and least welcoming.
