The basement bathroom was nice and there was a TV in the room. The noise and the loud laughter from the neighbors were annoying, and it wasn’t mentioned that they have dogs. Also, it wasn’t stated that the room was on the first floor and the toilet was in the basement, which is crucial for someone like me with limited mobility and a hard time reaching the bathroom. The basement also smelled like a pit.

The place was close to where we needed to be, but it was very noisy. One of us has a severe allergy to dogs, and that was noticeable— even the next day—so it would have helped to know there was a risk of exposure to “dog and dog hair” in the unit. There was also a faint smell of “basement.”

Everything felt pretty good; there was nothing we didn’t like about this place. We might come back once more if we need to stay on Zealand.

The man who served us was very friendly throughout, helped us order a taxi, and the shared bathrooms were better than what I’d read in other reviews. The room was comfortable. When we arrived, it looked a bit different from the photo, which made us feel misled about the place.
