“More like a 1 star run down house. Shocking”

I stayed in a place that was filthy, with a blocked bathroom sink and shower, a dirty toilet, no clean toilet bags or paper, and a fridge full of mould. The A/C was loud, there was no phone service, and the walls and curtains were stained with mosquito blood from people killing them. The kitchen was dirty and the whole property looked run down, feeling more like a 1‑star hotel and way overpriced. I could have found a cleaner, cheaper option elsewhere.

“The property was good but the location wasn't ideal.”

The property matched its description, but the “Hot Tub” turned out to be a large pond that was empty except for a stray cat. The location was a decent 15‑minute moped ride to the main GL area, so you really need your own transport since tuk‑tuks are scarce.

“Se ve mejor en fotos”

The design was nice and the staff friendly, but the access was uncomfortable, especially in the rain. The photos show a brighter, better‑maintained place, and there were no storage or hanging spots.

The design and pastoral location were great, but the place was hard to navigate and the hotel wasn’t marked on any sign.
