The place was gorgeous, surrounded by greenery and chickens, with a relaxing spa on the undercover deck. Inside, the cottage had tasteful décor, fresh bread, eggs, lavender soap, and divine apples that looked like decorations. The only downside was the cold – even with slippers and dressing gowns, the bed stayed chilly, and the lounge air‑con didn’t heat the bedroom. A hot water bottle or heated blanket would have helped. I’ll bring one next time.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The owner left fresh eggs, bread, and milk, setting a warm tone. The location is great – close to cider shops and walking/biking trails. Every morning, three resident dogs greeted us; our 10‑year‑old fell in love with them. The property is clean and well maintained, with a huge, comfy master bed and a hot tub that was perfect for unwinding after exploring. We loved it so much we already booked a return next year.

The accommodation was roomy and conveniently located, and Dinesh surprised us with a warm loaf of freshly baked bread – a nice touch. It had everything needed for a self‑sufficient stay. However, the surrounding trees made the interior very dark and blocked any good view. The three dogs were friendly, but the youngest Labrador was boisterous and almost knocked my wife over.
