The historic rooms, set up with great attention to detail, were spacious and offered a wonderful view of the castle moat and surrounding fields.
The size and location of the apartment were good, but the cleanliness, especially in the stairwell, was lacking.

The location was very unusual and perfectly situated; we were warmly welcomed, met the owner and the count, and even got a short private tour. The apartment had a huge courtyard with a parking spot right in front of the door and the peace was fantastic—no cars or anything else could be heard even with the window open at night. The staff were extremely friendly and addressed every request immediately. There was truly nothing to complain about.

The calm of the place and the comfort of the beds were a highlight.

We stayed there with a group of young girls for a short week during a summer camp; from start to finish it was a very special experience and everyone worked hard to give us a nice time. Both inside the castle and in the surroundings there was plenty to see and do, from a castle tour to nearby small and large lakes that are easily reachable, and city trips to Augsburg and Munich; we had plenty of variety and always friendly encounters with everyone living in and around the water castle. We’ll gladly come back.
