It’s expensive for what you get, but that’s NYC. In Europe—even in capitals—you can get a nice en‑suite room with breakfast for the same price. Still, it was quiet, felt safe, and very clean, and check‑in worked very well. I would’ve liked a sink in the shower room; at least on my floor that wasn’t the case, though it might be on others.

The experience was horrible; while I was trying to sleep a mouse appeared, I was terrified and immediately called the number. They gave me another room, and the lady who was “helping” me told me that isn’t possible, and the day after she told me that they checked the room and they didn’t find anything and she also told me that her boss thinks I might had a bad dream?? The building was so old and dirty. The bedding was used by another person and it was dirty. The bathrooms were too small. Everything about them made my NYC trip horrible.

The room looked way nicer in person compared to the photos online; the beds were comfy for what it was. They provided two sizes of towels per guest and a little bar of soap. After checking in, it was pretty much contactless (even check out!), which I liked as well. The shower and toilet were in separate rooms, which was nice for multiple people. Great for the price. The pressure for the shower was crazy low and the shower itself was a little dirty; I would bring shower shoes with me. The pipes near the bed kept making a sound periodically throughout our whole stay that sounded like someone's stomach grumbling (a little silly).
