The room was spacious and comfortable, with a small outdoor pool and a stunning view over Lake Manyara and the distant mountains. The staff were very helpful, and the food was good. However, there were no vegetarian options at all—only meat. The wine was outrageously expensive; be sure to ask first or buy it in town for a tenth of the price.

This place is perfect for anyone wanting a beautiful spot to relax in the area. What we really appreciated: the staff were amazing—professional, fluent in English, and always trying to make your stay exceptional. We stayed one night and were treated to a traditional African buffet dinner that was extraordinary; the team made sure fresh, hot food was available even if you arrived late. The room was super clean with modern, new furniture, and the bed was incredible—something we rarely find on our many trips. We booked a basic room but received a free upgrade because our original category was no longer available, saving us about USD 200. The view from the location was amazing. We left the next day and, though checkout was scheduled for 10:00 AM, we were allowed to stay an extra hour and received a free lunch box and water, even though that was no longer included on the day of departure. Overall, 99 % of this accommodation is amazing, and the staff set a real benchmark. Minor points that didn’t affect the overall experience but would make it 100 %: breakfast was good but very basic; for this price level and type of accommodation we expected more variety. We had a room with a private whirlpool; the room description said the pool was heated, which wasn’t true. A heated pool would have been nice in the evenings. We understand heating may not be possible, but the information should be removed from the description to ensure transparency from the start.
