The room was cozy, the location was spot on, but I didn’t realize we’d be in a hotel with a four‑unit apartment‑style complex instead of a cabin.

Five minutes to the famed Abbot Bakery, where the pastries, chicken pot pie, and sandwiches were tasty and the setting was quiet and relaxing; checking in was a breeze with a pre‑sent door security code. However, a rubbish bin inside the toilet, Kleenex tissue paper, and a cup for rinsing would be handy, and a paper towel would help clean up before and after meals.

Hidden away in a large, quiet spot, perfect for those who enjoy driving quads and ATVs in Maine, but the outside porch was dusty and the AC/heater had spider webs.
