Excellent service, great location, and a central spot, but the water in the thermal area was quite cold.

In addition to the incredible historic Falkenstein Hotel facilities, there was a fantastic, creative new wellness landscape.

The location is great, but the spa was a mess with towels everywhere, dirty, and drink cups littered the floor; people kept talking on their phones, which should be banned in the spa. Lamps were broken, no one answered the spa reception, and the regional breakfast items were missing. On the bill a €10 tip was deducted automatically without any explanation.

Second time this year. All went smoother (better than first time when I experienced some service bumps, not serious tough). The place is amazingly nice, the breakfast is top, room service is very good, location is fabulous, external heated pool is super relaxing and general feel-good factor is very high. The breakfast service is a little bit unorganized, so you need to wait and nobody is coming to tell you the table, also to get coffee and the order part you wait, and it looks that there is not a methodology. Also, there was no tea and coffee in the room, and it seems that here and there are some savings (that the price point does not justify). But this are minor things that do not deter from the overall very good experience
