Cliff Hotel Rügen

“Rügen und seine Landschaft haben uns sehr gut gefallen, dass Hotel werden wir nicht wieder besuchen.”

The room was okay, but the first cleaning only happened after 4 days! In the very small bathroom the door was damaged because of the tightness, had holes and cracks. The lock was not worthy of the name, the door only held when it was latched. Towels were also only replaced after 4 days… Breakfast was very good. The location is great, but that isn’t the hotel’s credit. The island is always lovely. The spa area was very good, meaning bath and sauna. The restaurant was okay, which is to be expected at the prices. Cleaning state of the room, towel changes at least every 2 days, emptying trash cans/paper bins daily! That should be standard!

I had to move from a room with a view and a dangerous step next to the bed to another room that had no view and no balcony.

“Es war okay, wir werden jedoch nicht mehr in diesem Hotel übernachten.”

The breakfast was excellent and the variety really impressed us. However, there are only two elevators; when one is in use, the other stops working, which often caused long waits early in the morning until one was available on our floor. Also, one of the bar staff was very unfriendly.

Everything was very good, and there were no negatives.

The hotel’s location, the spa treatments, the pool, the breakfast buffet, and the friendly staff were all great, and we didn’t notice any negatives.
