The bed was comfortable and clean, and the rooms were tidied well every day; the facilities and bar were pleasant. However, the bathroom door didn’t close properly and there was damage to the floor in several spots, the lighting was odd and too bright at night, and the dining room felt strange.

It was an okay night; traffic noise was loud but closing the windows helped. There was no bedside light switch—only one for the main lights—so it was hard to dim the room before sleeping. The room was 24. The breakfast was pricey for poached eggs on toast at £13.
