I found the place right near almost every spot you’d want to hit in the city, and it was spotless. There’s a shared kitchen stocked with kimchi and ramen you can grab yourself. The staff were super friendly, and the manager took a good amount of time to help me. The room, however, was tiny and the mattress felt a bit hard, but I was still able to sleep.

The location offers complete privacy, everything I needed was in the room and it was clean, plus it’s close to everything else. I could locate it easily thanks to a YouTube video guide, and I’ll definitely book it again on my next trip to Korea.

The spot is ideal, next to the subway, under 10 minutes walking to Insadong, Jogyesa temple, and Ikseon-dong village. It’s close to the Dangdaemun market and just steps from the Cheonggyecheon river. The room was clean, towels and toiletries were supplied, and the hotel was easy to find thanks to a YouTube video made by the hotel. The soundproofing was disastrous; my room faced a very noisy street that stayed loud until 2 or 3 am, so earplugs were mandatory and even then I could still hear it! The bedding was awful, a spring mattress that squeaked and sagged as if it were old, so I barely slept until after 4 am. The space was tiny.
