Everything – the property was away from town but within walking distance, a quiet area of Ubud with rice paddies nearby, keeping you away from downtown chaos. The swimming pool area right outside your villa, the beautiful garden, and the friendly staff – even the dog – made it cool and shady. Loved it here.

The owners are adorable, always on hand to help and simply amazing. The toilets are poorly positioned behind the shower, but that’s just a detail!

Ketut and Made are wonderful hosts who made me feel at home, plus the lovely pool added a bonus. The location is private, quiet, and close to Ubud’s best dining spot, Karlos, right next door. It’s about a 15‑minute walk to the markets and the Palace. I’ll definitely return on my next visit! Nothing I didn’t like.

The rooms are spacious and relaxing, offering excellent value and kind hosts. The road to the villa can be impassable at times depending on traffic, but I’d just grab a Gojek bike for $1, so it’s not a problem.
