“Прекрасное место в Вероне.”

The host and her mother were incredibly welcoming. Beyond a modest front door, a beautiful marble staircase opened up. The room itself was small, old‑style, with interesting paintings and all the comforts. The view from the window looked out over a fast river and, a little farther, a castle on the opposite bank. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts in a separate room with a balcony full of flowers and a lovely view from the window. Everything was perfect.

“Confortable”

The breakfast was basic but good, and we loved the location with a view of the river. However, the place claimed to have a fridge, but there wasn’t one, and the tiny kitchen had no sink for washing utensils – you had to do it in the bathroom.

“Quelle déception”

The location is great, close to Verona’s center and right on the Adige river, but the place fell short of my expectations because the photos on the site showed a cosy, pleasant apartment that wasn’t the reality. Some pictures didn’t match the actual rooms, the furniture in the bedrooms, or that tiny hallway. The host forgot to mention that breakfast is served in a locked adjacent room from 8 am to 10 am. The breakfast itself was mediocre, and the furniture in the living room was old. The room was also plain and very small. I’m really disappointed; the price is far too high for the service that was actually provided.
