The location was very nice and the interior was cozy, especially the kitchen which had everything. The lighting in the living area was too dark. The sofa bed was sagging and not suitable as an extra bed. The pull‑out stairs were suitable for children, not adults. The bathroom could only be reached through the bedroom.

The house is thoughtfully arranged and the garden invites you to linger; the surroundings are very quiet, and the air conditioning keeps it comfortable even in midsummer. Insect screens are installed on the main windows, and a free baby cot and high chair were provided. Overall, almost everything needed for everyday life is available on the premises. However, a large portion of the furnishings and the house itself feel quite dated. It could be cleaner, and we even encountered a few ants inside. The interior lighting is sometimes very dim, and the vacuum cleaner urgently needs replacement.

The amenities are solid, communication with the owners is good, and they are warm, friendly, and understanding. Nothing else stands out, except that pet hair caused allergies.

It’s indeed a lovely cottage—cozy and a great stay in Zeeland for 2–3 people. The “sleep loft” is quite small and low.
