I could hear birds and felt the natural surroundings, but the tiny print on the check‑in receipt made it hard to read, leading to confusion over the breakfast voucher and the large bath’s PIN.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bath was refreshing; getting a free one‑drink ticket from the nearby Meizō was a pleasant bonus. The only downside was that there was a clock in the changing area but none in the bath itself, which would have been nice.

Check‑in was quick using the Route‑Inn App, and the parking lot was ample; the room was small but offered good value, complete with a standard coffee machine and a decent drink selection. Free Wi‑Fi was fast, and while the hotel itself had no restaurant, the adjacent Maguro Dining Bikura—part of the property—was excellent, and you’d get a drink coupon from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was typical Route‑Inn fare, not always hot, so arriving early is wise. The spot is convenient for visiting the Classic Car Museum, Teddy‑Bear Museum, the Hunter Valley, and the Tadimi Line area.
