The hotel is on the promenade, breakfasts are very good, and a walk to the old town takes about 15‑20 minutes. The hotel advertises parking, and it does exist, but parking spaces are irregularly available and often occupied.
The staff are friendly. The breakfast is good.
The room was big and clean, but the shower water was cold in the morning, the curtain didn’t close properly, and the lift felt old and unreliable.
The location is excellent, right by the lake

The location is really great, right on the lakefront. The air‑conditioning unit was a poor imitation of a climate system, utterly ineffective, yet it rattled like a basketball hall. The base might have been nice 40 years ago. Curtains were hanging or missing. The bathroom flooded because the cabinet doors didn’t close, and there was no siphon outside.
