The breakfast was generous and relaxed, with no rush to finish because other guests were waiting, so I could take my time and enjoy it. The kitchen staff were excellent and efficient, and David remembered me from previous visits, which felt great. After chatting with the hotel manager I was allowed to stay until 12 pm. The housekeeper, Nivain, was attentive to my needs and gave me everything I asked for. I was so thrilled that I gave both of them hand‑drawn magnets and bookmarks, and they were excited too. The warm, human touch that fills the hotel made it feel like a home I’d love to return to at the first chance. Unfortunately, the water company cut off supply from 23:00 to 05:00 the next morning, just after a busy day when I wanted a nice shower. I had to settle for a clean bed without a proper shower, which marred my experience since I only stayed one night and couldn’t get a chance to make up for it. A hotel employee announced the outage near the rooms as it happened, sparing me the disappointment of discovering the taps were dry.

We liked the size of the room, the balcony, and we got a live performance by Shlomo Artzi from the Sultan’s pool. It was comfortable and pleasant. Not related to the hotel, there were a lot of renovations around the station area and the station complex we built on was very unpleasant to walk around.

What could be better? Breakfast was a bit dull, the bowls weren’t refreshed when they ran out (and we arrived at eight in the morning), and the toaster ate the bread.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were friendly, answering every question and making me feel at home. Parking was convenient right next to the hotel and within walking distance of all the main sites in Jerusalem.
