Everything just worked out. The apartment is incredibly beautiful and in a good location. The kitchen is well‑equipped and the small courtyard is an absolute plus. The host family is incredibly nice and helpful. We’ll definitely come back when we’re back in magical Oaxaca. Thanks for everything! It was really everything perfect.

Héctor’s hospitality, the beds, the pillows, the backyard to relax, have breakfast, drink wine, or just read, the modern comfort and the peace it gives.

Héctor is one of the best hosts we’ve had. He’s really responsive, let us leave luggage and then let us in a little early. He gave us plenty of great local recommendations, offered a 20‑liter water for just 50 MXN (we finished it all in a week), and checked that we had everything we needed. The location is a short walk from the center, close to the main church and near loads of good restaurants and cafés. The bedding was very comfortable and the courtyard was great. The bedroom has no external windows, so it got very stuffy and very dark during the day… we would have liked to leave the courtyard door open a bit during the day to let in light and air, but without a fly screen, mosquitoes can get in. Because of the layout it might be hard to put in some sort of fly screen, but it would really help.
