The host was very friendly and took us to dinner at Junyo with his wife. It was an unforgettable experience that went beyond just renting a space.

The house felt like a cozy, authentic home with a peaceful vibe that we all enjoyed. We had plenty of space for our teenage kids too. The host was super friendly and went out of their way to help when we lost our luggage. I’d definitely recommend this place!
“Beautiful gem of a guest house”
Beautiful little guest house, near historic streets. The host was extremely helpful answering any questions we had in a very timely manner. She reserved a taxi for us when we wanted to go to a museum and she was super helpful for other questions. Matsumoto Castle was one of the most beautiful castles we saw in all of Japan

A genuine Japanese experience with great support from the host. You need to be physically fit to sit and sleep on the floor, but that’s part of what makes the stay memorable.
