The property was small, but the pool was incredible. We loved that our room had a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our children’s dietary needs. The food was also very yummy! We loved our stay here.

We stayed at Aman Sinaya, which is over the road from Batahal but part of the resort. If you get a villa, this is where you will be. Villa #6 was very, very good, spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff here are amazing; Ariel is an excellent facilities manager and Joyce is a credit to the company, super helpful in both her prompt communication and her help with planning activities. They will order a tuk‑tuk for you immediately when you need one, around 100 pesos for up to 10 minutes from the resort. They also organized private car and boat hire for us, all reasonably priced and faultless. You get to use all the resort facilities while staying in a villa, with the added privacy a huge bonus. The food is excellent and arrives in good time, always hot. The only downside was that some of the drains and toilets had an incredibly bad smell, so we had to have someone come to attend to them every day. That’s why I’m not giving 10 stars.

The room was great, the bedding was comfortable, and the hot water pressure was enough; it was the best hotel I stayed in during my entire trip. It’s a one‑minute bike ride to the beach, very convenient, and only a hundred meters from the main street, so the location is excellent. There were a little bit of mosquitoes, but I wasn’t bitten.

The location and all the meals were amazing! All the staff were very friendly and helpful! Our villa was amazing! Love the private pool and all the rooms had full‑size bathrooms! There were a few instances when the hot water ran out. More importantly, there was a bad smell coming from the toilet in one of the downstairs bathrooms.
