It matched my needs. The people were friendly. If I wanted to find something I didn't like, I would, but euh… I don't feel like nitpicking.
“Mooie kamer in een omgeving waar je helemaal tot rust te komt”
On a road trip to southern France we made a stop at Maison du Silence. We were warmly welcomed by Iman and Mayke on the terrace with a beautiful view, including a cool welcome drink that we really needed after a hot travel day. The room was nice and fresh, and there was indeed overwhelming silence. At night you only hear some forest owls and in the distance some barking foxes. In the evening we mentioned that we wanted a breakfast before leaving. We chose the fresh baguette, the croissants, and a good cup of coffee, and then we were well rested to head back out. We will definitely come back for a longer stay, possibly in the gîte because it also looked very cozy.

The hosts were super welcoming; we barely saw each other because we were there for a wedding. The house was very pleasant, the room very clean. The beds were made on arrival, along with the toilet linen. Nothing to criticize; if we had to return to anything, no problem, we would go back there.

I didn’t get breakfast, the spot’s okay but it’s noisy. The rooms could be quieter and more private. The kitchen area sits next to the bins and the workshop. The owner’s DIY during meals was annoying. There’s no toilet in the rooms.
