“Bad unsafe environment espeically for female travellers”

The owner seemed shady and ran a sort of brothel; as a solo female traveler the place felt unsafe, the AC didn’t work, a karaoke party was going on in the bar so I asked for another room, but at 2:30 am I saw questionable activity in the lobby, which felt very unsafe for a conservative island. The same owner had a hotel with the same name in Labuhan Jambu, a departure point for whale sharks, and that place was like a prison—super scary, don’t go there as a female traveler.

“Reasonable”

The staff were very friendly, the room had a porch and air‑conditioning, and it was close to the airport; I’d recommend it to locals who speak the language, as we felt safe but missed the service level of other Indonesian areas. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable; a restaurant was listed but was closed for dinner during our stay, so we ordered through Go Jek; lunch was available but the noodles were spicy, and we would have declined chili if asked; staff seemed overwhelmed by a running event that coincided with our visit.

“Normalito.”

The staff were attentive and friendly, but the sheets were not very clean, the sink was very old and gave a dirty impression, and the breakfast selection was limited.

We were greeted in a truly spectacular way! Check‑in took only a few minutes. There’s a café and a restaurant on the property, and shops are just a five‑minute walk away. Wi‑Fi covers the whole area, and there’s a free shuttle to the airport.
