The breakfast was very good, but the view from the room faced the parking lot, and the room was still expensive.

The bathroom had windows, the breakfast and restaurant were good. The location was a bit on the outskirts of town by a lake (not directly on the lake), with a café and a handful of restaurants nearby, reachable by a short walk. Chiemsee was easy to reach, but mainly by car rather than e‑bike. The room was somewhat small and the furnishings were not very modern (in the old‑building hotel). When turning up the heating in the bathroom, a hum had to be tolerated in the room. Despite a moderate number of parking spaces and a promise of one spot per room, it was a gamble every evening to find one.

The staff are absolutely adorable, the ability to dine there is very appreciated, and the quality is on point.
