“Great Hotel in Beijing”
A grocery store and the 73 bus stop are across the hotel, very convenient; the room was quiet and clean.
“很好”
The place was fine.
“Siamo a casa, in Italia da 20 giorni ma torneremmo volentieri nello stesso albergo e a spasso per Pechino.”
The hotel was very clean and the reception staff were eager to help even though they didn’t speak English, using a translator for us. Breakfast was a bit tricky for Europeans and we only tried it once. It’s centrally located, about a 20‑minute walk to metro line 6, in a residential area next to the Capital Normal University pavilions, and the room had a coffee machine with pods. The only drawback is the limited English proficiency, which would improve many things, though the Chinese kindness and a touch of irony do help.
The cleanliness and location fit my needs.
“入住体验被烟味毁了”
The upper‑floor room offered a decent view, a comfortable size and fresh décor, and although the subway was a bit of a walk—about 12 minutes—it was still manageable; the surrounding area was quiet and the streets were clean, and a Guangdong tea house downstairs served dim sum until 2 pm at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, on the last two nights the neighboring room was full of late‑night guests who shouted in the hallway, smoked, and filled our room with smoke, making it impossible to sleep despite the hotel’s non‑smoking policy, which was not clearly communicated.
