Conveniently placed near the freeway, shopping and a Starbucks, the bar served decent food and drinks, the TV had streaming services, and it’s a hit with business travelers; however, the A/C never worked properly, the room phone was useless, and the only fix offered was to open the window and call the front desk with a cell phone.

The hotel sits just a stone’s throw from UW Madison campus, the room itself was roomy and spotless, the staff were super friendly, and there was plenty of parking.

From the sixth‑floor room you get a nice view, but there were no toiletries on the bathroom counter and I was surprised to be charged $10 for parking.

The accessible room opposite the elevator was noisy, the carpet was dirty, the bedside lamp’s lightbulb didn’t work, the floor lamp was unplugged, and everything was messy.
