The place is right where you want to be and the morning buffet was solid, but the flat‑screen only had a handful of channels and the air‑conditioning barely kept the room cool.

We loved how close it was to the entrance of Cabo Frio, but finding the inn was a hassle – the sign was tucked in with dive‑school and tour posters, so we walked right past it without noticing.
