The large bath with a sea view was nice. The outdoor bath changing room was too dark, there was sand‑like stuff under the sink, and when the lounge hours ended the lights were turned off even though I was still looking at the souvenir corner.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great tips. We arrived at the end of August, late in the season, but with a car we still found tasty restaurants easily. The hotel is a shoe‑free zone, which was nice. The view of the beach and sea was fantastic. Coffee and water were always available. The public bathroom was well equipped with everything you need. We were a group of four in a room with two beds and two futons, which was plenty of space. The hotel has a washing machine you can use and provides detergent, though you have to hang your clothes in the room. We felt very comfortable.

The place is nicely situated right next to the beach, with an onsen on site and a pleasant lobby. It’s a good spot to unwind, and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback is that there aren’t many restaurants around.

All the meals were delicious and the view was spectacular, and even the little ones were thrilled! The building showed its age, which could be described as having character.

This hotel, like many in Japan, seems to cater exclusively to Japanese tourists; Western visitors feel sidelined, with no English support, meals only for Japanese, rooms only for Japanese (no bed), and staff who are unfriendly, so the value you pay doesn’t match the service you receive.
