“Resort fees are getting ridiculous on top of taxes on top of having to pay extra for a non-smoking”
I appreciate the riverfront spot, a clean room with a fridge, good restaurants, and consistently excellent staff, but the resort fee is absurdly high—add to that taxes and an extra $6 a day for a non‑smoking room, and the price keeps climbing. I've stayed here many times, yet the cost is rising and I might look elsewhere with a lower resort fee; the hotel itself is nice, but the fee for pool and beach access, plus taxes and the non‑smoking surcharge, feels excessive.
