The room was spacious, but because of the rain water got into my suitcase and I needed space to dry it out. I couldn’t pay with some credit cards for certain nights.

The hotel was wonderful, everything was nearby—bus station, market, food—and the rooms were clean with excellent linens.

I’m back for the second year, and the spot is spot on—almost right next to the bazaar center, super clean, and you can even cook your own meals.

I shared the whole place with just one other person, and after a few weeks of traveling I decided to stay indoors and binge-watch movies for three days, eventually extending my stay. The Wi‑Fi was solid and the AC worked well. The downside was the cat in the lobby: it was chained up all day and night, confined to a tiny space, and the room had a strong pee/poop odor from the cat, which had urinated on the floor several times. If you’re not able to properly care for a cat, don’t bring one.
