“Enjoyable stay with some stress.”

I was greeted warmly and the check‑in process went smoothly. After being shown our room, we learned that the fort wasn’t lit because it was low season. When we booked, the room’s view with the fort lit up was shown alongside other rooms of the same calibre, all of which included free breakfast. Because the fort wasn’t illuminated and the sun was intense, we asked for the room next door to reduce sun exposure; it was shown for the same price and we were told everything else would be identical. The room itself was spacious, very clean, had a hot shower, good Wi‑Fi, and comfortable bedding. The balcony offered great views, and the staff shared excellent local knowledge. We also booked onward travel through the hotel, and both the car and driver were excellent. Breakfast arrived fresh in our room. The hotel sits in a quiet location down a narrow laneway, close to shops, restaurants, and an ATM, making it a great starting point for sightseeing. The rooftop views of the fort and Blue City, as well as our room, were fantastic. However, later in the stay, issues arose that made us uneasy. To change rooms, I was asked to cancel my booking, told not to worry about the cancellation fee because they would handle it, and assured that everything would remain the same. I found that a bit odd but trusted their word as visitors. Soon after, the owner claimed that because we had changed rooms, breakfast was no longer free and began drafting a bill. I disputed this, reminding him that he had repeatedly said everything would stay the same, and that if he had known breakfast was excluded, we would have stayed in the original room. The owner grew somewhat aggressive. His son intervened and resolved the matter. We didn’t receive breakfast on our last day, but the arranged transportation arrived on time and we left the hotel as scheduled. Other promised amenities didn’t match reality: there was no rooftop restaurant—just a table and chairs; no lunch or dinner options, so the described Chinese and Indian cuisine was unavailable. We asked about wellness facilities, and were told they only operate during high season, a detail not mentioned when we booked.

The hotel is very beautiful and in a great spot! The room offered a fort view, a very comfortable bed, and was really clean! The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful!

The owner is amazing and will help you with anything you need, great rooms and great value for money.

The staff were friendly, but Jodhpur itself is a very dirty city. The windows were really grimy, nothing like the photos.

The place was next to the center but on a quiet street, perfect for rest. Breakfast was great; we could choose what we wanted and it was prepared right away. Our train arrived late and they didn’t have any problem waiting for us to check‑in, and because we were in low season with few guests, they gave us a room with better views even though we hadn’t paid extra. Very kind! The cleanliness needs improvement; the sheets and towels weren’t very clean, and the room had a lot of dust, maybe because it had been closed for a while during low season.
