It was easy to reach and offered a nice view of the golf course, but an extra mirror in the room would have been welcome.

I liked how close it was to the city centre, but the staff didn’t help at all when I asked for toilet paper – I had to drive into town to buy some myself.

The room was decent and the staff were helpful, yet loud music from the neighbouring restaurant kept me up both Friday and Saturday nights. There was no crockery or cutlery in the room, though we had a kettle, microwave and fridge. Breakfast was missing entirely, and an extra towel had to be placed on the bathroom floor because the floor became slippery after the shower. The beds were comfortable but “latt” when moving around them, and the price felt too high for what we received.

I arrived 15 minutes after the check‑in time and the promised instructions never arrived. I called every number, even the after‑hours one, but the voice menu was only in Swedish and no one answered. I searched the rooms for a key as they had said, but none were found. I went to the shop/reception, but nobody was there. In the restaurant there were staff, yet the doors were locked and they ignored me knocking on the windows. I booked at the Stad Hotel and went straight there. The next day I learned the message hadn’t been sent because of an unspecified “error” and no one checked. They offered a full refund, but I’d rather not have been left out in the rain for an hour like an idiot.

The rooms are quite cramped and there are no drink glasses. There is a kettle, but no tea bags or coffee.
