“Excellent stay in a cottage full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend. Hope to see y”

We had a lovely stay and the owner's hospitality was top-notch, especially from Janine who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The only minor things that could be improved are a new toilet seat in the bathroom and a full blackout blind in the main bedroom to block out the light.

The views from this hotel are seriously stunning - I mean, you're right in the heart of Hout Bay, with the mountains towering above you. The location is perfect, but it's not just about the scenery - the staff were really helpful too, even when I checked in late. The only thing that let it down was the noise from the nearby road, which was a bit of a bummer. Still, it's a great spot to relax and unwind, and the views from the room were just incredible.

“perfect in every way”

This place is super convenient for a short stay. The location is great and the staff were really helpful when I checked in late. The room was small but spotless and had everything I needed. It's a shame there's no washing machine inside the flat, but the laundry facilities down the hall were easy to use. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking for a hassle-free stay.

I was really impressed with this hotel - the atmosphere was super chill and quiet, which was exactly what I needed after a long day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the decor was bright and cheerful. My room was comfortable and clean, and I loved the fact that it was so peaceful. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again - it's a hidden gem that I'd highly recommend.

The place had a weird damp smell that lingered throughout my stay. It was pretty off-putting and made me wonder if the place had been properly cleaned or maintained.
