The location, view, and price are excellent; only the furniture feels old and dusty, yet overall everything is good.

Everything was perfect with a breathtaking view of Mount Batur. It was so cold I almost wanted to sleep more—just joking, all else was fine and the staff were very helpful.

The compound is generally nice and well-kept, though it’s surrounded by a less attractive part of Bali. There are a lot of flies—hundreds if you sit on a terrace (not an exaggeration). No hot water or shower pressure, the bathtub was dirty but there was a separate shower that didn’t work well. The window can’t be fully closed; it’s just a wooden slat. At that height it’s cold outside, the room collects moisture, and it feels really chilly inside. Hot water elsewhere isn’t a big deal, but here it’s sorely missing.
