This booking let us discover Chantilly, not only the castle but also the charming little town. The hotel sits right in the center, in a beautiful old building. Breakfast was excellent, featuring regional products like honey and homemade jam. The connection to Paris isn’t always reliable (trains canceled or late), but that’s not the hotel’s fault; on the contrary, they helped us get to the station on time.

The staff were fantastic and always ready to help, the location lets you see the town and hop on a short train to Paris, breakfast was superb, and the room was spotlessly clean.

I stayed two nights, paying 140 € the first night and over 220 € the second for the same room; when I booked, breakfast was listed as included, but upon arrival the staff said otherwise. I had agreed to pay extra for the second booking with that understanding, yet I couldn’t have breakfast and only got a coffee that was still charged, even after I voiced my frustration; no single gesture of goodwill (not even 3 € on a room over 200 €) was offered, which is disappointing, especially since the hotel itself is great.
