The place is very beautiful, perched on a rise. Nearby is a Buddha shrine. The houses vary in quality; I chose the simplest one. I arrived for a festival that was held at another hotel, where the rooms were much better for the same price and the food cheaper. It seems that if you book here, you should go for the first line, right on the ocean. I just don’t like the sea noise at night. The hotel is cut off from the main beach by tides; you can download a tide app if you walk like I do, or if you’re on a bike there are no problems at all. Anyway, no one bothered me, all the Thai staff are very friendly and the hotel feels safe. In my room a gecko lived, very cute. The internet was good and a couple of times my mobile data failed, so I went to a café where everything worked. Light was available 24/7. The breakfasts were tasty. The room was dusty; it could be cleaned better. Add a wardrobe or hooks for clothes; the concrete walls are very minimalistic. I slept well and felt fine, but that depends on the interior condition.
