“Beaucoup de choses à améliorer pour être un hôtel digne de ce nom”
We were welcomed warmly and escorted to the room, with staff offering to help with our luggage, showing the host’s service spirit. The room was spacious, which mattered, and the air conditioning was a plus. The hotel also has a very good restaurant, and this town has many good ones. However, many aspects were lacking and felt minimal. Check‑in was only possible from 18:00, which is unprofessional for a hotel. Breakfast was very basic, with no yogurt or fruit. The room’s basic furnishings were problematic: the desk was crowded by the TV; the nightstands were flimsy; the bathroom had a low mirror, no place to hang towels, and no soap holder in the shower. The lighting needed improvement: no desk lamp, and the general LED spot gave a cold, washed‑out light.
