“Definitelg need operational improvements”
The rooms were roomy and clean, and the view from the room was decent, but nothing else fancy about the property. The price matched that of a 5‑star hotel, yet basic amenities were missing. At check‑in we were told to wait because a photo shoot was happening in our room, followed by cleaning; a 20‑30 minute wait was tolerable, but no water or welcome drink was offered, which was uncomfortable since the reception wasn’t air‑conditioned and the weather was extremely humid. When we asked about room service, the initial reply was a flat refusal, though they eventually agreed; it seemed staff communication and training were lacking, and the receptionist didn’t even know the extension numbers for housekeeping or room service. Even new staff should know these basics. Breakfast was let down: no buffet, only one beverage and a basic dish like toast or aloo paratha; portions were small and the juice wasn’t fresh. To top it off, a power outage lasted the whole night, leaving us without air conditioning. Overall, the experience was frustrating; the property has potential but is heavily overpriced. For the rate charged, one would expect a seamless experience comparable to brands like The LaLiT or Radisson.
