The location was convenient, easy to reach our destination, and suitable for families; the kids liked the pool. I disliked that after showering there was no bath mat, so the tiles stayed wet.

The spot was ideal for a long‑weekend event at the showgrounds. The mini‑fridge was barely cold. Hot water took so long to reach the shower that we initially thought there was none. The TV wasn’t wall‑mounted correctly and tilted; we had to call the manager to fix it, and every time we wanted to watch it we had to reboot. A microwave was present but no cutlery, so we asked for some. A washing machine was dumped in the pool area. Biscuits were never restocked for tea or coffee.

The spot was well‑located and the garden looked lovely. The staff were friendly, though the reception wasn’t open 24 hours. My room was roomy, the beds were clean and comfy. The traffic outside was a bit noisy, and I thought the price was high for a motel. They only handed us one bottle of water for two guests when we arrived, and extra water had to be purchased.
