“Comfortable but less than adequate”
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good, yet the rooms and the building itself need a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.
The property sits inside the city wall, close to all the sights, the Minster, pubs, and shops; the old building has been beautifully updated by the owners, breakfast is included as a nice perk, and they were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was amazing, the room was lovely, and the staff were very helpful, but the constant ringing of the York Minster bell for almost an hour while I tried to eat was a real nuisance.
