Getting to the location was tricky; you have to wander through a maze of alleys, climb stairs, and with a stroller the staff help with luggage, which is odd. There’s a small terrace, but it’s a shame it doesn’t offer better sea views.

Everything was terrible! The location was extremely inconvenient, requiring a climb of 130+ steep, narrow steps, and they demanded extra payment to move our luggage, which was frustrating. We had to check out before ten, yet they told us the bus to Amalfi wouldn’t leave until 11:30. In the rush we knocked our suitcase against the wall, causing serious damage, and they didn’t take responsibility. When we tried to cook breakfast, the gas ran out and they did nothing about it.

Cinzia was the best. We took the ferry from Salerno to Amalfi and arrived at the Amalfi station area, which was chaotic and we struggled to navigate the crowded public transport. Planning ahead, I’d recommend booking a private shuttle instead of the bus from the Amalfi area; the bus fills up so fast. Cinzia arranged a private shuttle to the hotel for us, which was one of the best customer services I’ve experienced.

The welcome was very warm from the staff, the bedding was excellent, and the terrace offered a sea view. The parking fee should be considered when booking, as it increases the overall cost.
