“Perfect location, lovely staff and the history of the building all contribute”

The location was convenient for us – we could reach the cathedral easily and had plenty of meal options. The hotel’s history matched the town’s history, and we also visited Stonehenge from there, which was perfect for our stay. The only issue was parking: you tried to accommodate our needs, we dropped off our luggage and then parked in the lot we had scheduled with you, but it was the only problem – I think you did the best you could with such a historic location.

“Despite shortcomings the accommodation suited my needs.”

The location was great, breakfast was decent, and the room, though furnished with dated pieces, was spacious, comfortable, and offered a view of the central courtyard; I also adored the cat Leona. However, the tea and milk supply was minimal each day, which felt a bit rude. On day three, my towels were replaced even though I had left them on the heated towel rail—an unnecessary action—and my bed was left unmade, which was odd. The dining staff seemed confused about the distinction between dinner and dessert cutlery; trying to eat a full English breakfast with a small knife and fork was difficult, indicating a lack of attention to detail.

Nice hotel close to the center; no major problems surfaced during my visit, and a few minor tweaks could improve it, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

The staff were friendly, and my room was lovely and clean, but there was no help with my upstairs case when I was leaving, though a lovely lady assisted me upon arrival.

“Definitely will stay again.”

The most beautiful old world Hotel. The history dating back hundreds of years is fascinating. Perfect location for exploring Salisbury. Lovely accommodating staff. Short stroll to cafe's, shops & loads of stunning pubs. Sad that they didn't have any hot bar snacks or food. No restaurant other than breakfast if wanted which we thought was a tad expensive
