We chose this place for our overnight stay on the bike trip along the Loire because of its unique location in nature. Sleeping in a cave was truly special. The room wasn’t very large but was very atmospheric, and everything we needed was there. It was a little damp, but that’s expected in a cave, we’ll say. The owner welcomed us very warmly. We arrived a bit late and hadn’t found anything to eat in the village, so she prepared a meal for us. Later, the owner brought over a bottle of wine, which was fantastic! In the morning we had a nice breakfast on the terrace outside the cave.
