Everything was absolutely perfect, including the location.

The spot lets you soak up the historic centre, but the room felt cramped with a window that looked out onto a dim day‑well. It felt like sharing the apartment with ghosts, and the common area didn’t encourage mingling. Parking was steep at 35 euros a night, though a larger lot 2 km away cost 10 euros for 24 h and wasn’t listed by the host.

It was unacceptable that the elevator took 20 minutes to arrive while I had a serious knee issue; I shouldn’t have had to keep going up and down. The place should have supplied usable cards or coins for guests. The area is awful, full of litter and grime.
