The room was comfortable with a modern bathroom, the host was great, and the breakfast was plentiful. Parking was right at the house. I have no complaints.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, with the lady in the house offering great advice. From there it was easy to reach the hiking spots we chose, and a hike directly from Langensoultzbach into the nearby high Nordvogesen is highly recommended. It was very quiet and ideal for winding down. The only issue was the narrow bed—1.40 m wide for two people, a small challenge, though somewhat normal for France. The mattress was a bit too soft; a firmer topper would make a difference, but that’s the only negative.

It’s one of a kind—a typical Alsatian timber-framed house crafted with great care. The mattresses deserve special mention for their rare quality. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by the owner, featured many excellent homemade jams that you can buy to take home. It’s rare to find such an extraordinary place 😃. Nothing negative.
