It looks simply dreamy, with an epic beach, pool and sea, and the area is very quiet, though the beds have rather firm mattresses.

The location is beautiful, right by the sea, a 20‑minute walk to the supermarket, a restaurant is just around the corner, the nearest larger village with facilities is a 30‑minute walk, and the cabins with air‑conditioning are fine.

“Plus que décevant. Trop de négatifs.”

The place isn’t much to write home about, but check the negatives first. The spot isn’t far from the center, so a scooter is better than walking. There’s a small beach right in front, and the pool is fine if you like it, but we didn’t use it because the whirlpool had dirty algae. We booked two bungalows; the cheaper one was better than the pricier higher‑level one, even though it was near the pool. The manager wasn’t very friendly, and the so‑called luxury bungalow was basically zero luxury: the bed was on wheels and moved whenever we shifted it. There was no storage, just a tiny bench for our stuff. No linens, only a large bath towel, so we had to ask for two because the one we had was too small. Over three nights there was no cleaning, no water for us after arrival, and no fresh toilet paper. The bungalow was paper‑thin, and for two nights the neighbors talked until 4 a.m. Even though the price isn’t outrageous, there’s a minimum that matters.

The location is right on the sea. The bungalows are small, and the toilets and showers are cramped.

“Excellent hut on the beach, unique in Koh Phanghan”

The hut was excellent, with minimal comfort on the beach, a unique find in Koh Phanghan. I’ll return.
