“It’s not a good family stay. If it’s just you and you just need a place to lay your head down for the night it’s a good”
I appreciated the free upgrade—though I'd call it an upgrade—and the night desk guy was super cool, but the pool was disgusting, my friend's room smelled like musty mildew, the AC barely worked, and the carpets were sticky. My own room seemed newly remodeled with fresh paint and newer carpet, though the AC still underperformed. My friend booked for 2 adults and 2 children but had 3 extra grandchildren who came to swim and celebrate her birthday; they were charged an extra $45 to swim in the gross pool even though they didn't stay overnight. If you bring extra people, expect to pay extra; for a quick visit and swim, $45 is excessive, perhaps $20 would be reasonable. The pool was dirty, grey, murky, smelling of mildew, with blackness at the bottom. Breakfast couldn't be taken to the room, so with only five tables, keeping the kids in line was tough.
