The owner was extremely enthusiastic, helping from booking the room, arranging transport to and from the border, recommending restaurants and entertainment, and renting scooters; when a friend in our group had a fever at night, he personally brought medication to the room and helped them recover. Thanks to his help, we managed to get through many unexpected situations, and we are very, very grateful.

The place was spotless and roomy, and the building sits near a lot of spots. The owners are friendly and speak English well. It’s tucked down a quiet alley, so noise isn’t an issue. Most Vietnamese hotels lack an elevator, but the stairs here are wide with landings, so it’s manageable even with a backpack or a roller. Just reach out before you arrive to get the door and lock‑box codes.
