We managed to book the place in a pinch, and the landlady was reachable right away, even drove to meet us so we could settle quickly; she arranged a taxi into town and helped with payment when we ran out of cash, which was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and we loved the balcony view.

The bed was comfy, but the listing said I’d rent the whole two‑bedroom unit, yet when my sister joined I was told to pay an extra $45.00 per night, which seemed wrong; there’s no closet or hangers in the bedroom, the price jumped from $350.00 to $500.00 after I entered my card details—something that should have been clear upfront—and the shower water came on slowly.
